One of the hottest haute couture colors this year is grey.  Every imaginable shade of grey.  Greys that vary from light and silvery to pewter; from a charcoal sooty grey to a deep dark rich toned grey.  Any and all shades of grey are in.  Patterned grey, solid grey, embroidered grey, variegated stripes in shades of grey – have I missed anything? Our favorites - Zazu and Diana 630.

Grey is the perfect color to help eliminate the gloom and doom of our dark mornings and dark afternoons in the winter months and still be oh-so-right for any look.  I love my black tights and leggings as much as the next person – maybe more when I tally up how many I own – but I do admittedly get tired to death of black. 

It really is pretty basic – grey works with virtually as many color choices as black.  Grey is stunning with navy; to die for with cranberry; ideal for all shades of red and plum; grey softens all shades of black, and is the perfect match for winter whites.  Just about the only color grey doesn’t work well with are the various shades of brown; and then, let’s be honest, our beloved black doesn’t always work with brown either! 

The many shades of grey are all flattering to your legs and figure.  With the huge plus that grey tights eliminate the hard edgy look of black tights; yet retain all the panache and chicness that black tights connote.  

Grey is softer – more feminine yet completely professional and business-like.
